MIC Toi Rerehiko presents the 2011 Homegrown programme of New Zealand's new short films.
Ebony Society written and directed by Tammy Davis is one of the films selected. Tammy is from Wanganui and has had a lot of experience in the film and television industry but this is his first short film where he was directing. A story of mischievous youths who celebrate Christmas by stealing, but an unexpected encounter tests their friendship and motives.
This film has screened at Sundance, Berlin and Message Sticks in Australia. Tammy has been funded for his next short film which is in pre-production now.
