Larry Parr

Ngati Hikitanga, Ngati Raukawa me Muaupoko

Although he was born in the Whanganui town of Raetihi, Larry Parr is of the Ngati Raukawa and Muaūpoko iwi. He attended St. Stephen's School, went on to Auckland University, graduating with a Law degree in 1975.

Larry has had a long association with the film and television sector and has worked in a number of behind the camera roles including a spell as General Manager, Programming at Māori Television. Larry is currently employed as Manager - Television Funding Portfolio at Te Māngai Pāho, the Māori broadcasting funding agency.
