Lawrence Wharerau is a respected journalist/researcher, who has 26 years of experience in broadcasting, radio and television, as well as working in the film industry in front of and behind the camera.

He is committed to a Maori voice being heard in cinema, television and radio.

Lawrence is currently working at The Film Archive in Wellington as a research cataloguer.
