Graduating with an LLB/BA in Maori, a Parliamentary Librarianship, and a Business Diploma, Renee has also worked as a researcher, director's assistant, writer, casting agent, stylist, producer for television and commercials then somehow made her way to Maori Theatre Company - Taki Rua Productions. After moving to Waiheke Island from Wellington four years ago, she then worked with Nga Aho Whakaari in helping to get Te Paepae Ataata operational.
